Description

Gongura, also known as Sorrel or Roselle, is a leafy green plant cultivated for its tangy, sour leaves, which are used in various cuisines, particularly in South Indian dishes. It’s a relatively easy-to-grow, annual plant with two main varieties: green-stemmed and red-stemmed, with the red-stemmed variety being generally more sour. Gongura is a good source of iron, calcium, fiber, and antioxidants.
