U S Blue berry

Description

Berries are covered by a waxy cuticle covering the epidermis. Fruit development can be divided into several phases of color development: immature green, translucent greenish white, greenish pink, blue-red, and blue. Fruits ripen in 40–60 days. Blueberries are consumed fresh as dessert fruit and also used for baking.
